One day from being done

for this semester, at least.

I’m not liking being a ‘B’ student, but I guess I’ll have to get over it.  I’m not able to devote time to class like I did before I started working full time and doing all my other stuff too.

9 credit hours down, 27 to go before I have a bachelor’s degree in my hot little hands 🙂

I now understand why there’s summer vacation built into schools; I understood it before from the child’s perspective and having grown up in the agricultural heartland I did understand why…but now, with the amount of work I face doing summer chores like canning, drying, gardening, etc.  I understand like never before.  When I was little, I was a helper.  Now, I’m the driving force.  Big difference.

I plan to take summer classes if I can, anyway.  I don’t want a three month break, I want to get this done!

  1. Way to go! Good on you for getting edjamikated; I have zero desire to go back to school. I’m sure you’ve said elsewhere, but are you willing to share what you are studying in school for your degree?

    • I’m getting my bachelor’s degree in nursing; my company pays for it (up to a point) so I may as well take advantage of it. Plus, the longer I work in the ED the more I realize that primary care, and prevention, are going to be the key to the future. Which means going on to hopefully get my nurse practitioner degree. Eventually. If the world doesn’t end first. And my herbalist certification too.
